Registering key plate

For a Key Protect key insurance to be valid you need to register key fob here.

Fill in your registration number and the number on the back of your key fob.

Then attach the key fob on your vehicle key. If you lose your vehicle key we are able to identify you as the owner via the number when the finder posts it.

If the key is not returned within 14 Days, we will replace the cost of your vehicle key and for trans coding the vehicle's immobilizer, up to 5 000 SEK excl. VAT.

Valid in the EU/EEA and Switzerland, without excess

Key Protect Insurance is included free of charge for 12 months in all our vehicles warranty Insurances after which you can extend it as long as you want.

Don't forget the spare keys

If you have several keys to the vehicle often used, safeguard them as well with KeyProtect! The annual cost is only 147 SEK per key. Order via our customer service, phone +46 300-56 38 10.

Reporting a loss

A lost key must be reported to the police as well as to AutoConcept Insurance AB, Smörhålevägen 3, 434 42 Kungsbacka. Tel +46 300-56 38 10 (weekdays 07:30-17:00).

For reimbursement of replacement costs for a new vehicle key, please print and fill out the Loss of key report form and enclose the loss notification report from the police, and the original receipt as proof of claim new vehicle key.

For payment we also need details of the insured's bank account number including the bank clearing code.
